I think we can start now. My apologies, I just had to get that out.
Sooooo I got told by a kid that hasn't known me for very many months that I'm "that girl who sits around watching movies" and it hit me how much I watch stuff--and how little I read.
I used to be the girl that would get all chores done in twenty minutes then spend the rest of her days unavailable- completely engrossed by some fictional character's dilemma. Then I'd get forced back to reality when I hit the "about the author" and cry to mom or dad at dinnertime about how their pain became my pain. I was that girl. Then somewhere along the way books became expensive, too hard to get a new one and too many teenage romances and right along that time I found a free movie site. I realized how fun it was to spot the actors flaws and I started reviewing and giving my opinion instead of sobbing over a murder scene. I'm not sure which side of me I like more(hence that thing 1 thing 2 madness at the top) but I know one thing. I just found several websites for downloading free books and I plan on getting my heart maimed by some elf's sacred sword again for the first time in forever.
Starting with a novel.
Ohmygosh you guys. I found it. Seven years of googling and searching and asking anyone that knew anything about it and I find it while waiting for a video to load. Atsuko. Asano's novel. The No. 6 novels are in my possession at last!!!!!!! WHOOOO!!!!!! Right after I finish writing this I will be starting on chapter one of book one and my prediction is 6 books in three days.
It's been a while but everytime I restart the manga or the anime I end up having it done in days so I don't think a book will be any different. I'm so excited it almost doesn't seem real. I've looked for so long I gave up thinking I'd find it, figured I'd have to go to japan, find the original version and hire someone to translate it for me face to face. Instead some wonderful human being put it on a blog. Did I mention I love blogs? They're such beautiful creations, I want to kiss the person that made blogs exist. I could kiss them if they were still alive but they're likely dead and I don't roll that way.
Okay before I get gross lemme change. Wanna know another thing I love? Knives. Specifically spinny knives. Ones with a ring to put your finger in so if you have sweaty hands you're not gonna drop one. Or if you just wanna look frickin epic, you can spin a weapon on your finger and listen to the gasps of awe that will ensue. Seriously though, how cool is it to have a spinny knife?! They're compact but lethal and so cool! They're like the spinny swivel desk chairs of the weapons world! Who doesn't love spinny swivel desk chairs?!
I had some other stuff to mention but I've got a book to read and church to go to tomorrow so I'll summarize.
TV SHOW RECOMMENDATION!!!!!
Has anyone hear heard of Nikita? Now I don't often like the "super tough bad girl in leather" type but Nikita has such a good plot, good characters, not a super predictable plot like everything seems to have these days. It's 6 seasons and get this. IT's finished so no waiting a week to see it show up online. If you enjoy spy shows, kickbutt awesomesauce then this is the show for you. If you'd rather a sparkly vampire then don't let the door hit you on the way out :)
Last thing.It's been forever since I mentioned nail polish- namely because I've been using every drop in my bottles so that I don't have to buy more because im broke. But the other day I jokingly asked mom to get me some new silver nail polish and she gets home and tosses two bottles in my lap. I'm certainly not complaining.
Wet n Wild needs new name designers. They didn't take two seconds to come up with the names of these.

I've worn Silvivor and it takes a few coats to not be transparent, and starts chipping pretty quickly. I suggest putting a clear protective coat over this one for sure. I'm putting Gray on tonight and wearing it to church tomorrow so I'll put an update on how well it is later. I'm putting a clear coat over it just to be safe.
Now if you'll excuse me, dearest. A book calls and I see no reason not to run into it's open arms. I bid thee adieu....or however you spell that.
